Viridian City/Route 2 The first city you will come too on your travels. Stop by the Mart and stock up on items, visit the Pokemon Center and heal your Pokemon or catch some Pokemon on Route 2. On your first visit to Viridian City the gym is closed. |

Viridian Forest/Pewter City This forest is very huge. Becareful not to get lost in it. If you do manage to make your way out, you'll find yourself in Pewter City. This is where beginner trainers earn there first badge. Plus you could visit the Museum and see some rare Pokemon fossils. |

Route 3/Mt. Moon It's just a short walk from Route 3 to Mt. Moon. It is said within lays Moon Stones which are used to evolve certain Pokemon. |

Route 4/Cerulean City/The Cape After you exit Mt. Moon, it is only a short hike to Cerulean City from here. Here trainers battle for there second badge. Or, you could go train at the Cape and meet Bill, the man who invented the Pokemon PC system. |

Routes 5 and 6/Vermilion City Now, taking Route Route you are, now minutes away from Saffron City, but the guard won't let you though so you have to take a detour towards Route 6 and head to Vermilion City for the badge there instead. |
